I usually keep myself busy biking in and around Damme, to the coast from there . Also the other side of the Bruges Ommeland, also to the coast. My area I roam in is from Cadzand to Ostend, untill Ghent. That is as far as I can get with my bike and go back the same day, max 110 km. Normal bike eh, no ebike or no fancey sport bike, just citybike with photogear. Lots of the times I just go to bike in the countryside and no longer take photo's. The subject needs to interest me, I don't shoot things that are in nice light solely no more, it needs to interest me...
I wasted lots of time in shitty buildings like this, not only to photograph, i even had my own squat for a couple of months, during winter, with no heater or electricity :) . So glad I changed to nature photography. Because of the Autism problems I lost myself a couple of years. I have no connections with any of that scene or people. I have a new life and I'm glad about that. And I'm Not an anarchist. I still have respect for the Lappersforters, the eco activits, who stand up for the tree's against big corporations...
